Webinar: The Strengths of an All-Girls Education
15.04.2026
What is it like to learn and live at an all-girls school? To be in an environment where girls are encouraged to find their own way, free from gender stereotypes and unspoken expectations?
British boarding schools have a long tradition in what is known as single-sex education, and many see clear advantages in it. Particularly in STEM subjects, sport, and a range of extra-curricular areas, girls demonstrably show more confidence when they are among themselves. The results are visible: in exam performance, in the academic subjects they go on to study, and in a school atmosphere that pupils consistently describe as more relaxed and more supportive.
In our webinar on 22 April at 6pm, three experienced heads from British girls' boarding schools will talk about what this environment actually does for the girls in their care.
Our guests
Eve Jardine-Young, Principal, Cheltenham Ladies' College
Julie Lodrick, Head, Tudor Hall School
Kevin Carson, Headmaster, RMS for Girls
The webinar will be held in English.
